George Rivera, DDS
A Great Dentist

George Rivera, DDS uses state-of-the-art technology to deliver optimal results in dentistry and maximize patient comfort. Some of the dental technologies we use include digital x-rays, intraoral cameras, dental lasers, optical scanners, and more. These advanced technologies have helped our dental team improve clinical efficiency, diagnosis, and treatment for each of our patients.

iTero® Digital Impressions

The iTero® Digital Impressions Scanner is a state-of-the-art technology used to take 3-D digital images of the mouth. This technology eliminates the need for traditional impressions, expediting your Invisalign treatment process.

The iTero Digital Impressions Scanner is more comfortable for patients than traditional impressions, and it does not expose patients to any form of radiation. The iTero scanner delivers more accurate results, making your Invisalign aligners fit more comfortably and precisely.

Dental Aerosol Extractor

In response to COVID-19, our team has implemented infection control procedures such as dental aerosol extractors. This technology protects our patients, dentists, and dental assistants. Dental aerosol extractors eliminate airborne pathogens and bacteria, improving the quality of indoor air in our treatment rooms. George Rivera, DDS also has excellent air filtration, so everyone who enters our office can breathe clean air.

The Wand® Anesthesia System

The Wand is a computer-assisted system used for gently administering local anesthesia. With the Wand, our skilled and experienced dental team can more carefully perform pain-free dental injections.

The Wand is significantly more comfortable than an anesthetic syringe, and it greatly reduces patient anxiety. With the Wand, you can receive a more painless and comfortable dental treatment without experiencing a lingering feeling of grogginess after your visit.

Expansion Appliances

George Rivera, DDS offers high-quality expansion appliances to improve occlusion and breathing. Expansion appliances create and maintain adequate space in the mouth to give adult teeth more room to grow and properly align.

These custom-fabricated appliances can correct a patient’s bite and increase the size of the nasal cavity, which improves airflow. There are several different types of expansion appliances, and Dr. Rivera will determine which is best for your unique needs.

George Rivera, DDS proudly offers Invisalign treatment to Oakbrook Terrace and surrounding communities. As an Invisalign-trained dentist, Dr. Rivera can help you achieve a healthier, more uniform smile that will last for years to come.

Invisalign is an innovative orthodontic treatment that eliminates the pain, hassle, and time commitment of traditional metal braces. For more accurate results, our dental team uses the iTero Digital Impressions Scanner to take digital 3-D impressions of patients’ mouths. The Invisalign lab then creates clear aligners specific to your unique smile, giving you the most customized treatment possible.

Using Aligner Technology, Invisalign is considered to be the world’s most advanced aligner system. Invisalign uses 3-D printing technology and advanced software to determine the best way to straighten patients’ teeth.
