Dr. George Rivera
Dr. Rivera earned his DDS degree in 1984 from the Loyola University School of Dentistry in Chicago. He has continued receiving advanced training throughout his career from numerous acclaimed institutions and organizations, including the LD Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education and Northwestern University School of Dentistry. Dr. Rivera also has advanced training in Invisalign® and is an Invisalign Premier Provider.
He is a lecturer and mentor to other dentists, particularly in advanced technologies impacting dentistry such as CAD CAM dentistry, microscopic and laser dentistry. He has also spoken on behalf of parent’s groups for guidance on the care of autism spectrum disorders as related to the dental office environment.
He has published articles on various topics of interest in restorative techniques and methods in dentistry. With 29 years of clinical practice experience, Dr. Rivera continues to explore progressive new technologies to help patients of all ages improve their dental health. A passion for dentistry and true dedication to the well-being of his patients summarizes Dr. Rivera’s career.
Dr. Rivera comes from a medical family and moved here from Cuba with his parents at five years old. He has been married for 31 years and has three college-aged children, two of which are twins. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, tennis, hanging out with family and catching up with friends.

Since 2011, Susan has been a valuable part of our practice. She enjoys getting to know our patients and welcoming them back on a regular basis. It’s fun for her to get caught up on their lives and milestones when during their visits. Susan genuinely cares about our patients and tries to accommodate them in the best way possible. Outside of the office, Susan enjoys tennis, yoga and reading.
Ayesha Dental Assistant
For over two years, Ayesha has been our dental assistant and is currently in the process of applying to dental schools. Ayesha enjoys working with our patients and being part of a process that helps our patients achieve better long-term oral health. Her compassionate nature, along with strong work ethic, dedication, reliability and organizational skills, contribute to the success of our practice. Ayesha also enjoys reading.
Alice Dental Hygienist
Alice joined our team in 2016 but has been practicing in the dental field for almost 10 years, since graduating in 2008. Alice appreciates the philosophies of our practice and how we work as a team to educate our patients, so they can have a healthy bite and preserve their teeth. She also likes that we all take the time to build patient relations, which helps our patients feel more at ease when coming to the dentist. Alice takes the time to inform our patients and customize recommendations for each individual patient. Alice speaks Polish. She got married in September of 2016 and enjoys DIY projects at her home. She’s also traveled to various countries, including Spain.
